We did it!  After what seemed to be an eternity of anticipation, we've finally accomplished this monumental transfer initiative of taking 28 LaGuardians to Boston, MA to visit several colleges and universities.  This takes visiting your college of interest to a whole new level!

Back in the summer of '12, it occurred to several of us in HSAC that because many of us have been visiting college campuses individually to stay better informed of our transfer decisions, we should visit these colleges together.  Cut to several months later and this suggestion snowballed into an HSAC project to take 30 interested LaGuardia students on a subsidized trip to visit 6 Universities and 11 colleges in Boston!

At their respective colleges, each student experienced a mix of information sessions, campus tours, museum visits, personal interviews, and even the opportunity to sit in on active classes.  We entered the foreign city of Boston armed with only our curiosity and hunger for knowledge, but came back saturated with invaluable information, eye-opening experiences, and brand new perspectives on what being a successful student in the modern world means.

Each student has taken the time to write about their poingnant experience and share it with the world.  These essays are here for anyone who finds him/herself interested in the following colleges, but hasn't had a chance to visit them.
